Cookies policy
Entity: Detoxpureflex, 86 Queen St, Brisbane City QLD 4000, Australia. Contact: question@detoxpureflex.world · +61 422 558 626.
This statement explains cookies and similar technologies on detoxpureflex.world, how long preferences persist, and how we meet transparency duties under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as well as expectations for visitors covered by the GDPR.
1. What we mean by cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Local storage entries fulfil the same role for remembering consent. We group them into strictly necessary, analytics, and marketing categories.
2. Strictly necessary storage
We store a JSON object in localStorage under the key tdde_cookie_prefs_v1 to remember whether you accepted, rejected, or customised optional cookies. This storage is required for the banner to stay dismissed and for proof of consent. Retention is indefinite until you clear site data or withdraw consent through the banner controls when we surface them again after a policy change.
3. Analytics category
If you enable analytics, we may later load measurement scripts that collect aggregated traffic data such as page views and scroll depth. At publication of this policy, no third-party analytics script is embedded by default; enabling the toggle only signals permission for future implementation. You may withdraw permission at any time via Cookie Settings, which updates localStorage immediately.
4. Marketing category
Marketing cookies, if introduced, would help attribute visits to campaigns. They fire only when this category is active. Rejecting marketing does not remove strictly necessary storage.
5. Browser controls
You may delete localStorage entries through your browser’s privacy panel. Doing so will cause the banner to reappear so you can reaffirm choices.
6. Australian Privacy Principles crosswalk
APP 1 requires us to manage personal information openly; this policy and our Privacy Policy describe what we collect. APP 3 limits solicited collection to what is reasonably necessary. APP 6 limits use and disclosure to primary purposes unless consent or law permits otherwise. Cookie choices you save are personal information and are stored only to evidence consent.
7. Complaints to the OAIC
If you believe we have mishandled personal information, contact us first. You may then complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at https://www.oaic.gov.au/.
8. Electronic marketing and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth)
We send commercial electronic messages only with consent, accurate sender information, and a functional unsubscribe facility where the Act applies.
9. Updates
Material changes will show a revised effective date below. Where required, we will refresh consent prompts.
Effective date: 12 May 2026.
